Canadohta Lake ice report

5 to 7 inches of GOOD solid clear ice.  Just watch out for possible thinner spots near where springs flow in from the shore. 

Musky, all other fish are just bait!

    hate that lake anyway. the dead seal lol and i was on it this am and alot of places were more like 4" nefishnetime was with me and the ice was crackn underneath us making noise in some places so be careful. little scettchy

    That was a relay report from a fellow angler.  Ready for open water.  I just spent the afternoon sharpening hooks on the musky lures, seemed like a better use of time given the weather and cold temps.

    Musky, all other fish are just bait!

    Yep kinda sketchy. . . Looks good but kinda freaky when your walking and you feel ice cracking under your feet. . . No fish either. We went to Eaton after that only got 1 pike. Couldn't even get the Dink perch to bite . .

    Roughly 3" when we left at 11 am yeaterday

    Too cloudy for my buddys vexilar camera. It was pretty dirty

    The tourney is on this weekend and they say 5-7" of ice.

    Checked the ice at the boat ramp access area today at 3:00 .. NO SNOW ON IT.. Ice had white soft milky top layer.. and a couple in. of black under.. Ice should be nice and hard and Slippery come morning.. Cleats , Ice Anchors , rope , must haves.. West Winds 12-25 Mph. NW/

    I fished the tournament today. It was the first time I have ever fished here.
    I'm pretty sure that it will be my last. There was enough tip-ups and jigs going around to feed a complete city.
    That is only if they were doing what they are made for(catching fish). Just did not see that happening anywhere.
    There was a lot of guys and gals out there.I dint even know if there was 20 fish caught in lake all day.(other than dink perch)
    The fish that were caught were decent. However for all of the lines and bair that was out there,It was very sad in my book.
    Safe to say that I Probably will not go back,or recomend this place to any friends.
