ICE FISHING TOURNAMENTS!
TIMBERLAND BAIT'S ANNUAL ICE FISHING TOURNEYS! Conneaut Lake tourney, originally scheduled for Sat., Feb. 4th has been postponed until Feb. 25. Canadohta Lake tourney, originally scheduled for Sat., Feb. 11 has been postponed until Feb. 18. --- ONE day only tournaments. Start time 7am - 4pm. Ticket price is $15. Cash prizes awarded for longest fish in each category of Musky, Northern Pike, Walleye, Crappie and Perch. 50/50 drawing. --- Register at Timberland Bait Shop for Both Tourneys Or, for Conneaut Lake, register morning-of at Firemans Beach. --- Call Jerry with questions, or to be put on mailing list for 2013. There is fish-able ice, 4-5 inches with soft spots throughout on Canadohta Lake.

any chance of moving the Connea tourney to Canadohta? I hear the chances of Conneaut Lake freezing are a pipe dream.... what's the word from the master? I soooooooooooo want to fish for money this weekend.

Fished there today ice is good where I was 4-6 good ice. . . Did look like a couple of spots could have been soft. I steered clear. My friend got a 30"ski on tip up!

There is still 5" of ice on canadohta but inflows there is open water. can still get on and fish off the boat ramp.
Musky, all other fish are just bait! Ask me about getting DirecTV hooked up on your boat or camper

never fished the lake, anyone care to help out with where the access areas to the lake are? (the better ones preferably.  ) also, can i register the morning of the tourney?

Call Jerry for all the information 814-882-8369. Yes you can register at the bait shop all this week or sat. morning. The shop will be open thur. 8-5 fri 8-9 Saturday we open at 5:00am!!!

Just got off the phone with jerry. . . . . Tournament is on!!! 5-7" of good ice. Said its the best ice they have had all year.

thanks again, Jerry. Hated missing the morning bite, but as I've said before, I'll fish your tourney anyway I can. I had my best day ever on the "dead sea". got into a mess of crappie and marked fish nearly the whole time I was there. One of these times I'll catch a money fish. If not, at least I'll have a fun time trying.
