Todays new choices in Predator hunting Lights

The Elusive Wildlife lights (kill lights).. along with the hog lights, etc. Are bought put together in China
here is a red led, uf-900 it is the xlr250 made by bryinte

http://brinyte.by-trade-shows.com/UF900-Red-Light-LED-Hunting-Flashlight.html

They were able to be bought, 2 lights, 4 batteries, and a charger for $93 dollars shipped.  but EWT wont let them sell to anyone in the USA, so you can see the markup the quick mount is $8 on deal extreme vs $25 of EWT.

You can buy a brighter red led gun or scanning light that has a slightly larger bell, deeper dished reflector...and far better throw than the xlr 250, and the guy runs a very good business.

The coyote flashlight

made by the same company as the kill light...but more powerful

Noxx http://noxxstore.com/PREDATOR-SERIES_c5.htm

makes two good lights they make a excellent red led powerful scanning headlamp...and a good gun light, both are led. And priced right and the reviews are good on all. These run on regular batteries found here in the USA....the others take a chinese battery that is dependable and comes with the kit...

if you do not mind white or like a super throwing yellow....buy this light add 3 pieces of yellow dj paper under the lens....you will need the battery charger and the gun mount all can be bought at this site for 35 dollars or less....

It is nice we have such competition, and also a better variety to choose from.

    Interesting Post benthook.

I visit a couple Predator Hunting sites and sort of get a chuckle regarding the amount of $ guys are spending on lights.
If they got the disposable income - all the power to them.

If I may offer my 2 cents:

I don't believe in mounting a light to a rifle scope for scanning purposes (GUN SAFETY 101).
Besides the safety point, if you make too much movement with the gun while scanning chances are Wiley will bust you.

For the frugal KISS principle guys like me, I use a bit of Redneck Engineering:

    Head Mounted Scan Light:
$20 Browning 3 mode LED Light that straps over your hat - uses 3 regular AAA batteries. I used a red Sharpie Pen to ink up the lens cover - no gel paper. I can pick up eyes well over 100 yards.

    Kill Light:
$18 Coleman end-switch flashlight - uses 2 regular AA batteries. My custom gun barrel mounting bracket = black electrical tape which has proven to be bullet-proof (pun intended).

Here is a pic of my shotgun kill light:

The end switch is 1 inch from where my hand holds the gun. No pressure switch to F-up (like alot of them do due to broken/kinked wires). Turn the light on, pull the trigger.

Just thought I would offer up other less-expensive alternatives to the higher priced offerings on the market.

Only downside is that I don't have "Yote Killer" stamped on the light housings...
