A Couple of Clowns

Haven't tied any Deer hair bugs lately so I thought I'de warm up with a couple of simple Nemo's, the left one is from Deer hair, the right one is from Cow Elk(which is some great stuff to work with),for your viewing pleasure (or not)

How long does it take you to tie something like this?

    Bruce,
Once again - very nicely done my friend.

kill3ducks, It takes about 1/2 hour to spin and stack the hair, The thing that is tough is the trimming, about 1 hour to trim and another hour to make up the fins and set the eyes, there are 12 feathers total for the fins.

Thanks guys for your positive feed back

Pat Cohen is realy awsome at artistic deer hair flys he was in a fly mag a while back. I seen some of his flies on facebook. Really good stuff.
