PYMATUNING ICE WITHDRAWLS

Can't wait to get out there again on this new season.. Hopefully since there were no big fish kills this year..We should have a productive year on the ice ..Already have been weeding through my stuff..Next on the list is to set-up the shanty ,and check for un-wanted guests.. Rods,Reels,Jigs,Lanters,Heaters, ect. ALL Cleaned , waxed , greased , Oiled ,Filled .. All this, just because the Puddles im my yard are frozen.. Must be close to the season.. WITHDRAWLS MAYBE..

I was out Tuesday for waterfowl, and almost the whole north end (everything I could see anyhow). Some open holes in the middle still.  It was even thick enough along shore (20-25 yards out) to support my weight (230) so I got really excited!!!  Then went back out Wednesday morning, and everything was completely open again ...I sure hope we get some ice this year, I got the flasher last year and completely turned my catch around and can't wait to hit it again...

I would love extreme cold with very little snow, I hate walking through the snow to get out there (but I'll take the snow if it means ice to fish)!

The worst day hunting or fishing will always be better then the best day at school or work!

Since there's no ice, why is nobody getting a boat out there? Just curious...

Too much ice to launch, not enough to walk on.

I just read on iceshanty that some bonehead busted up a bunch of ice to try to get his boat out. I'm guessing he wasn't succesful.
