Another addiction!

Gentlemen,
OK so after about 40 years I bought a vise and sat down to try to tie some flies. And after realizing that I didn't have the necessary equipment (let alone talent) to tie flies I purchased a bunch of equipment. Now; my first attempts were crude and very ugly but it's coming around. But with my ADD I can't sit and tie just 25 gray buggers. Noooooo I have to go to youtube and watch the tutes showing me the 15 different ways to make a bugger, So I do 17 different flies. Then I get bored so I start watching lots of tutes and trying them out. And buying more stuff. Sooo Now I have a brand new addiction. I'm still no good at it but I'm trying to succeed.
I wonder which will run out 1st my money or my ambition? ? ?

Indy, If I can be of any help, let me know. It's a good way to escape.......

Well I am sorta, kinda disappointed. My daughter just started trying to tie this weekend and already she ties like she's been doing it for years.

Speaking of addictions, I have been playing around with wine making this year. I love it, I made a small batch of pineapple wine that turned out decent, I was then given a pile of black berries and made a 5 gallon batch...it turned out awsome, only problem is I added some sugar right before bottling and now some bottles are exploding on me....lol...live and learn......neadless to say now that my 5 gallon bottle is available I started a watermelon batch.....cant wait....

May the holes in your net be no larger than the fish in it.

I am new to fly fishing for steelhead and was wondering if anyone uses droppers and if so what two flies have worked the best. I know things change day to day depending on th stream conditions but what flies are you guys confident with?

I konw guys that use a nymph with an egg fly. They can see the egg and use it as an indicator more than a bait.
