It's not as bad as it use to be. The price of gas has really put a damper on a lot of the pleasure boaters. Get there early and leave by 11 and the power boats aren't much of a bother. Sometimes they actually benefit the walleye angler, especially when the is no wave action until the skiers arrive, they break up the light penetrating the water with thier waves. Many times I've seen where the fish weren't biting until the power boats started to create a chop and all of a sudden the fish turn on.
