Hudson River Fishing

Began open water fishing of Hudson River between Corinth and Glens Falls with pleasant results.  Water clarity has been great along with a nice variety of fish species ranging from walleyes, smallmouth bass, pike, trout aong with plenty of perch/bluegills/rock bass.  Also met a regular who fishes Corinth area for hugh carp and catfish.  Most of my fishing has been from shore, but I would imagine you could get all kinds of action in a boat with all the overhanging trees and deep pools I can see from shore.
In the past I've done most of my fishing in one of the two Spier Falls Boat launch coves through the ice.
