help with handheld gps

Hey guys. I just bought a garmin etrex legend hcx. I also bought the northeast pa waterways chip for it. I didn't receive them yet but I was wondering if wilmore was on the chip so i called garmin and sad to say it wasn't on the chip. Does anyone know how i can get wilmore on my gps? I was fishing with deerhunting and bigtrout and a friend of theirs had it on his. This is fustrating. Can anyone help. Wilmore dam is located in Cambria county Pa.

northeast pa chip for cambria county ? Sure you bought the right chip ?

You can get alot of data for garmin as gpsfiledepot.com -- not sure they have much marine stuff however.

My reports and advice are for everyone to enjoy, not just the paying customers.

I got a bunch of maps free when I bought my Magellan, I think they came from NatGeo. Which had the whole state in small maps you could purchase and download to your GPS.

russ - are you looking for marine info ?   I'm not familiar with it.   It'd be on PA topo but I'm not sure that'd help you.
