Great day at Rose Valley Lake

Fished this morning from 7:30 til 11:30. Caught 25 big sunfish, 14 perch, and 4 bass. Caught a 16 inch smally on a wooly bugger and lost 2 pickerel. Fish wanted mostly worms. My buddy caught a bunch including a catfish. Saw 10 boats out. Weather was great, saw lots of deer on the drive up.

    Sounds like a good day and Rose valley looks a great lake for electric motors. Ever hook into any Muskies there ?

    Wondered where you have been. No muskies. Lots of Pickerel ice fishing. I have caught 2 smallies out of there over the years.

    stockings still show musky stockings at rose valley up to and including 2010. I guess rose valley falls under  the title " sleeper lake ". Its got big musky but at a slooow catch rate.
