Black Lake

Just got back from a weekend at Black Lake.  Problem is we fished the upper end of the lake which is very shallow and full of weeds.  Caught plenty of bass, pike, perch and a couple ling.  Was a guest of a group that has fished that end of the lake for almost thirty years.  We stayed at Carol's Campsite and it was a lovely place (very clean) with plenty of room for boats to dock. Also has nice bathrooms with hot showers and two nice filet stations.  However, after fishing that end of the lake I would recommend the lower end of the lake which looks to have much better structure for bass (especially smallmouth), pike and walleye.  Largest bass caught was 22", largest pike was 30" and largest perch was 13" and all were returned.
