Walnut perch

Heading up to the big lake to do some perchin this week. Any reports of perch being caught within a mile or so of shore?

    Chauncy, we got into a few on Monday in 35' just a little West of Walnut. Wouldn't say it was fast and furious, but there were a bunch of jumbos. Word was that they were hammering them off the cribs in less than 20' of water but I was already on the water at the nut and didn't want to run that far... Good luck and let us know how you make out...

    Wont be able to get out before sunday. Thanks for the info, dog. Graduation and openhouse this weekend is holding me up.

    Where would you launch from if you where to fish the cribs,

    East Ave or Shades Beach depending on boat size.

    I have a 19 ft Larson  deep V open bow with a  150 and a 9.9 on it and a Mini Kota troller
