large wool head streamer...

this is a bit of Nick Granato's El Chupacabra and Brad Bohen' s Hang time

the idea is a large hollow fly with profile that is also castable
a fly that is layered so it doesn't pin out/smash down when stripped

size


but with out being a block of hair and fur


UV polar chenille


Schlappen and some Mirage Flashabou


hackle


more flash


Bucktail tied in reverse




more UV polar chenille


more flash and hackle


Ram/sculphin wool
tied on top

and bottom


tie back


another clump on top and bottom
whip finish at the eye


get the scissors and start triming and fbrushing


shape the head
