catskills

Is anyone gearing up for some sullivan county area trout streams? I used to fish rivers like ten mile, callicoon, neversink and willowemoc quite some time ago. Was just wondering if anyone has any info on the area streams. Ive heard some have suffered from the floods and siince then native rainbow populations are dwindling. There's got to besomeone out there who's still fishing that area.. Im looking forward to trying some of the "good old days" creeks out this season. Tight lines

Esopus has really improved since they fixed the sediment problem from the Schoharie Reservoir discharge.  Neversink always has possibility of nice trout throughout the season as long as they continue to give decent releases of water.

I remember early june being a great time for dry fly action on nice rainbows in the esopus. But its been a long time since I've fished it.
