Freeze Out Party Pooper

Didn't mean to be a party pooper at Freeze Out, but after the good airborne try for two-plus hours, had a pair of bass, a bluegill and two dinker perch, one of which was a trophy submitted for the smallest fish - all of 4 3/4 inches.

My gut told me to get over to Chestnut and that I did. Twas rewarded with a large, colorful steelhead and a near limit of nice perch - 22 to be exact.

Steelhead was caught on a #10 white Genz Worm tipped with maggots. All perch were caught on either a #8 chartreuse/orange Genz Worm or a #10 chartreuse/lime Genz Worm - tipped with maggots. When I added a wax worm it seemed to excite them. Couldn't get a bump on the Rapala today.

I will try to attach pictures, this post or the next.

Nice job. I had the smallest perch but threw it back. We managed a steel and 18" bass after the tournament.

    awesome imr...great pic

It's not how deep you fish...It's how you wiggle your worm.
