Pa game commission budget

Has it been released for this year or last year? and if so where would one find it/ my searches have yielded nothing

    They used to have an annual audit with the Legislature that was good reading. When they went to a Strategic plan in early 2002 or so they changed that to a "Audit of the Strategic plan" and do that every three years, the last one being April of 2009 but didn't include 2009 in it. You should find some of what you want by going to the PGC website and looking under reports for 2010. If your looking for raw numbers the budget was about 75 million in 2007 dropping to about 70 million in 2009. The timber value is down for them as everyone but is starting to improve.

    Thanks, I was looking for a balance sheet like they use to print in the game news,and I do not get the game news anymore,you know with cut back from the game commission-I still let them use /hunt on my ground though.

    No more game news? Thats not very hunter friendly is it. I know they have to cut back to save money. Maybe they will let you browse through a copy at their new $2,500,000. NW regional building when it's complete.

    Landowners with property enrolled in one of the Game Commission public access programs can still enter their information into the Game Commission web site and read the entire “Game News” magazine on line.

    information as in the # that are on the paper(s) I signed to let the game comm have my ground to hunt on ?? my other Q to you would be "how am i going to read the game news on the throne" laptop?-- LOL just could not let that pass,

    You should have received information on how to access the PENNGAMENEWS.COM web site along with what to use as the subscription number and password when it prompts you for that information.
     
    The information should also have come, as a reminder, when you got your seedling order form last fall.
     
    If you can’t find it give the Regional Office or local WCO a call and they can fix you up.
     
    What, you don’t have a computer in the bathroom?
