Playing around with some glue. Thought I would share. Cant wait to get up to the Erie Tribs and try this one out.
 
Materials and Tools: Basics, Colored Hot Glue, Cup of Water, Dental Floss.....

 
Start by cutting a lot of small pieces of dental floss, about 1/2" in lenth. Then apply a small drop of hot glue to one end of the dental floss forming an egg. Quickly dunk it into the water to cool the glue in the shape you want. Do this over and over and over and over. You'll need a lot of these little eggs.

 

 

 
Tie in and wrap the hook shank.

 
Tie in the eggs one at a time layering them as they allow you making your way up the hook shank trimming of the excess dental floss as you go. Whip Finish and Cement.

Yeah you could just clip them but I normally just touch them on the nose of the gun again an it melts off.

Nice ties, will have to try that
