I was looking for some info.  I've been coming to Ohio for a couple of years now, deer hunting.  I'm looking for a trophy.  I've passed on decent bucks bceause I'm not really sure of the laws.  I buy my license online and am told to tag the deer with anything until I get to the check in station.  Can I get a second tag right there? And will it cost me more?
Thanks

I have a farm in Ohio so I hunt it a lot. There are no point restrictions in Ohio so you can kill what ever you want, and yes you can buy a tag at the check station as long as they are a license issuing agent. The cost for a tag is still the same amount unless you hunt in an urban zone. When I buy a license online all I do is take a piece of paper and fill it out like a tag would look, when I shoot a deer I fill it out and take it to the check station with me. The best thing to do is read the regulations or get on the ODNR website.

Hookin thanks for the help do you know the cost of the next tag?  Boy I'm excited you guys have some monsters out there.  We get some nice ones up here in the mountains but can't compare to those big ole corn fed slammers that you get.  Where about is your farm located we hunt in Coshocton County.  It's a blast.  Thanks and good luck.  I'd love to see a picture if you get a good one
