Wilhelm Carp

Anyone hitting carp at wilhelm?We hit wilhelm a couple times in the past few days (we caught some small pannies).The carp seem to be every where ,in the shallows.Are they spawning?
We ran into a couple guys last night getting ready to spend the night.One guy had an english accent .They had the long poles,fancy rod holders and where even chumming the area with bait using a slingshot.He said he caught a couple earlier in the day.You might know who I'm talking about.Looks like fun.

I'm gonna fish more and work less.

    They are having a fish get together this weekend there. That was Jeremy I would imagine with the English accent. Did he have some dogs with him? If you go up tomorrow there should be a group of guys and you would probably learn a decent amount about fishing for carp.

    If I was to guess I would say 80 to 100 carp saw the bank. Plus some bullhead.

    Was good to see you all again. Sorry I couldn't stick around longer. Next time.
    The eye's were cooperative though. Got a couple to the box....

    And Sean...we didn't get to BS much sice you were just getting set up...
    get a hold of me sometime you're coming up & I'll make it a point to do some carpin w/ ya.
    I'd like to get down to a pay lake sometime too, I know yer itchin' to take my $$.
    We'll have to set something up.

    I'll see if I can make it...got 2 other fishing trips planned...
    Erie tomorrow & was thinking Pymie Saturday morning,
    but I may be able to get down there instead...maybe I'll be sick of 'eyes by Saturday.
    Can never have too much fishin' time.

    Just got back from fishing and found the size of the fish a little disturbing. All the carp were skinny. I guess the hot weather is to blame.
