first trip to presque isle

I only had a couple hours to spare, and didn't catch anything, but it was nice to finally get to see the place and what to expect and plan for my next trip there....hopefully alot longer too! Its really nice up there! I took this pic of the turkey across from the CG access road. Also seen a nice size coyote in between the roads right down from the ranger station.
I put in at the lagoon by misery bay and fished the bay and lagoon. Marked some fish, but no luck catching them. I didn't have a map of the area at the time, so it was like a lost sea to me. Only had my 9.9 and didn't wanna travel much with it. I should have my 35 outta the shop for my next trip, and also have a map now of the place, so I will do more exploring next time. I can't believe how high the weeds are in the bay there...wow! Anyway I just wanted to share my little bit of newness to ya'all.

Where is a good place to get started on the crappies there?
