Got out over the weekend. 37" in my kayak. Blitz got the 36". also a few cats and bulls. still very slow but starting! the 36" was released btw. get em boys.

    Nice,bet that 37 incher was pullin the yak around pretty good.  How is shore fishing for Stripers on the Hudson?  I know that it can be done but in all reality is it worth the effort or are the odds stacked against you to land more than 1 or 2 a season fishing from shore?   Don't wanna bring the inflatable kayak out on the river as it is slow as dirt and I don't wanna wind up getting washed downstream with the current.

    A guy I know from down by Poughkeepsie messaged me today that he caught a 40 incher just south of Kingston from shore yesterday. I've also seen plenty of pictures of guys with striper caught from shore.

    Congratulations with the fun on the Hudson.  Check your PM's as they are full.  Haven't had a chance to get out much as I'm doing several baseball games per week.
    Nice to see a young enthusiastic fisherman show us how it's done.
