Lake LeBoeuf

For those interested in ice conditions at LeBoeuf.
9 inches of ice, 7 inches of white ice,two of clear ice and 3 or 4 inches of snow.
Saturday morning caught 30 fish and took home 5 crappie and 8 gills
Sunday afternoon caught 6 small crappie, all throw backs.

Look to the heavens and thank God everyday that hunting is such a grand part of our lives.

Where did you walk on at? I fished years ago and walked out on the boat launch side down a bit and remember it being shaky. Tried last year too and ice wasn't ready at the time. Just a little nervous with the inlet and outlet being the only places to enter at.

Walk out at both sides, I fish off the tavern side. and your right add 8-10 inches of snow, it's been cold enough the ice should be fine at both sides
if in doubt drill a hole a few feet off shore, First time I fished there this year I drilled holes about every 10ft. Walk right off the parking area and the ice is fine.

this club is the only fishing club in erie county authorized by fish and boat to restock public waters. they are makin a conservation effort and have selected leboeuf to start with. they are workin towards bringing fish populations up and back to where they should be. check them out and I highly recommend becoming a member and helping.
