tukey season -kids got me siked

my 14 yr old has got me back into turkey hunting after a 5 yr hyatis she shot a nice jake last year , now she want's a longbeard to match dad's . any other dad's out there ready  I am!

    I will be taking my younger brother out, he is 13. This will be his 1st time out for turkey. He has been out deer hunting and took a few ducks back in december out on beach 11 @ P.I. He is pumped up for his 1st turkey hunt. For me I would rather take a kid out and see them enjoy and have fun, than going out on my own..... Good luck to all and be safe.

    What could be better than catching perch...

    My son is 4 years old and I cannot wait until he is old enough.

    Sorry, didn't get back with you guys sooner, any way to what matters.my 14yr old daughter got her first gobbler 91/2 inch beard 1" spurs 20lbs talk about siked , set up blind friday night  birds roosted in tree above it ,so we changed plans let them fly down in the morning waited til they were bout 100 yrds out and we slipped into the blind unseen and unheard. they had just came from there so was a nice battle with the old boss but she came in fighten mad and brought big poppa with her 20 yrd shot 11-87 rem load of 5's  talk about ajelly head . big hug an kiss on cheek for dad and another great memory. best turkey hunt I have ever been on.
