Stream conditions for opening day

Headed up to camp (Tionesta) and noticed streams are just about blown..really two years in a row. Planned on fishing the east branch of oil creek. Any conditions know of there?

Hi, yourself !!    Oh, forgive me...that should have been...
    High and muddy.

The biggest stream I fished this weekend was Neshannock, and even though it was still flowing pretty hard(hardly any wading without taking a swim) I managed a few there today. Fished a smaller creek yesterday and had non-stop action. Once the bigger streams lower the fishing's gonna be great. Might hit Tionesta or Oil this week, but knowing me while I'm up there I might as well just hit the unstocked creeks instead

Smaller streams definitely fished better.  I hit Pine, Caldwell, Thompsons etc... and did really well at all of them.

The holes at Oil Creek I always love to fish were REALLY slow.  Most people gave up after a few hours and no hits.  I did however go down to bigger water at Oil Creek State Park and the fishing was very active down there.  Oil also fished well on the East Branch and the upper parts of the stream in places like Centerville, Riceville, and Lincolnville.   I think the Titusville area fish were just so full of chummed corn they refused to hit.  I can't come up with any other explanation for it, and neither could the other 20+ frustrated fishermen in that area.  Thanks again to the A-holes who ran around dumping massive amounts of corn into all of the holes in Titusville.   Those fish will probably die so we won't catch them and neither will you.
