It is coming down right now. If this keeps up, the streams will be blown out soon.  That would be good news for the fish.

A word of warning to people fishing when it is raining.  Always watch the water level.  The creeks can go up a lot faster than you might think.  Have some plan to get out the stream is you notice the water going up quickly.   Be careful and pay attention to your surrounding.

Yeah.  It's not like there's been much to worry about lately.  It just stopped here.  I hope it's not over already.

OK,  I hope to have some free time next week....  Maybe the fish will be a bit further up the stream.

Don't worry it is still raining here over an inch and a half so far.
Should bring up the fish and hopefully bring in the big browns.

The will most likely spread the fish out some.  In fact, some of the "small holes" people have been crowding around may not be as productive since the fish can move upstream a bit better.

I predict there will be about the same amount of fish in the streams, but they will not be as bunched up.  Good fishing for the sportsman, harder on the snaggers.

That's good news.  Ive never been so happy for rain to come...Western Pa was in some drought like conditions...not like California though.  Let's make sure we all keep proper perspective.  A lack of rain has "inconvenienced" some fishermen, but on the other side of the country people's lives are being ruined.
In the end, Lord, please let it rain!

I know of alot of trout streams on the way to erie that needed the rain as well. With as many fish that were stacked up at the mouths of the tribs alot more fish can have room to move in as well as the ones who were already up beyond rt 5 to move further up stream. Now all we need it snow.
