Been lookin forward to the season that's upon us and for some reason I don't seem to have the punch as in years past. I would've been up for an exploratory by now but seems like the fever has subsided some over the years. I hope to get it back soon. Although I've been down with pnemonia for about 3 weeks maybe that explains it. For now I'll fish through the postings/rantings/ravings of this wonderous board. i had surgry in march for a torn roter cuff & detatched bisep tendon and it has really been a long road..
It now looks like i my never retun to my job and its bringing me down but mybe hooking one steelhead will pick me up??? DO YA THINK LMAO.

After all the weight I lost the guys here say I look like a walking tennis racket. Not that bad really. Couple milkshakes a day and some big macs I should be in top form again.    Dave

Hello fellow fatties!  Can I be a part of this special fishing club?  Seriously, I may be able to help out.  If you can't seem to get around like you use to due to health or blubber like me, and still have the itch, get a hold of me.  I own a good size hole on Crooked Creek (big enough to spend the day) where you can literally drive right up to the hole (ten yards at most) set down a chair and fish!  You won't catch the numbers like Elk and Walnut but still a lot of fun and relaxing.  Unfortunatley the fishing doesn't really start until late October, but most of my family and friends are hunting so it's pretty open.  I've got too heavy to hike my fat butt up a tree anymore!  I catch heat for keeping the hole private.  I don't want to keep people out I just want to limit the numbers at any given time.  I've met a lot of nice folks so far and I absolutely enjoy seeing people catch their first steelhead!  There isn't a single friend or family member here that wouldn't hand over their gear to help someone out!  If you're new to the game or have kids that need a little room to learn, let me know!  Faith, Family, Friends, Fishing... and oh yeh ---> Fat!  We could name our little group the F-Bomb LOL!

It's a different feel up here, people aren't as quick to judge, my wife is still having a difficult time adjusting, my son loves the fact that he doesn't have to get stripped down when he comes back in the house, from playing in the yard, to get checked for ticks. It ain't only a country song, it is a way of life down there. As my missouri brothren would say about those who responded, "Ya'll rock".

      OK, I'm fat, I live 10 hours away, and I'm handicapped.  Does that make me a triple threat?   Happy Guy  E-mail me at hemilovr@gotmail.com.  We'll chat.  My weight went up when I got hurt.  Although I was BIG I was never fat till I had to SLOW DOWN.  No I actually hate myself:  1. For being incapacitated  2. For being too heavy.  My Dr. says the only way I will be able to loose is to actually almost stop eating.  Guess I'll have to take the remote control off the fridge.  LOL

     Hope that doesn't happen too soon.  I really don't want the wheels.  The baddest part is the fact that due to the pressure on my spine my legs feel like I'm walking through wet concrete.  Hands go numb, as do the arms, (right particularly) and the headaches/neck pain is a constant 4 spiking to 8-9.  If you have ever had a really bad (or good) hangover, that is how it feels.  But I will be up for the picnic, and I will be helping host the One Fly and then I'll take it from there.  Dr's have prescribed pain medicine and it works well but it plays he## with the digestive tract.  As the Rolling Stones say:  "What a Drag it is Getting OLD!"

I had to trade off my truck two years ago when my son was born. I now drive a mini van, I always said I traded the truck for the van and beer bottles for baby bottles. And by the way I wish they'd make better smelling Ben ****.
