Leaks

Can anyone confirm if the leaks are out of the ground yet.  I would like to make the trip up north but wanted to make sure they are ready to pick.   Thanks in advance

    I was in Cambria Co. just past Glendale Lake this weekend and the leeks were popping up but not big enough to pick/dig, IMO.  I am sure areas vary though.  The ones you would get would be nice and tender right now though.

    Havent seen leaks, but the ramps are out big time in our backyard in Edinboro.

    Leak: what water or a liquid does through a hole or crack in a container ment to hold liquids.

    Leek: a vegitable in the same family as onions and garlic.

    Wild leeks are also known as ramps. Just a little info on this cold morning.

    The worst day hunting or fishing will always be better then the best day at school or work!
