where to fish in the bay

My father and I are making a trip to erie in june, for the first time fishing in the bay and we have a 16' semi v boat we would like to fish for pan fish,and bass for the week.I would like to know where would be the best place to go with that size of a boat.I was reading alot about misery bay,that seems to be one of the best places to go.If anyone could give me any good advise it would be greatly appreciated.And also,where could I purchase a topographical map of the bay,and surrounding waters.
