Tohatsu vs. Evinrude

Hi guys,
Im looking into buying a new 40hp 2stroke motor, and ive narrowed down to two manufacturers that seem pretty good. Im stuck between Tohatsu and Evinrude and id like some input on those brands from owners and anyone who knows anything bout them, good and bad. I know Tohatsu is little cheaper and Evinrude your probably paying for a name, but i want the most reliable of the two.

Plus, I would add... buy the company that has the most available certified mechanics/garages in the area you
will be using it in.
Buying them is the easy part, getting them worked on can sometimes be a nightmare of jumping through hoops and travel to find someone allowed to do the work!
