Terrova with I Pilot question

I just got a new trolling motor today with I-pilot installed from the factory. What does the cable that comes out of the head get connected to? it has a plug in connection but I don't know to what. I looked in the book and online but haven't found anything yet.

    Only thing i can think of is that it is your Universal Sonar plug in. The Ipilot is all contained in the head of the motor shaft.

    Did you buy a motor with US2? If so I bet that is your answer

    I believe anzomcik is correct.  If it is a small 3/8" or so plug then it's the US2 connector.  I just bought the same motor (Terrova 80# w/iPilot and US2) and am amazed at this thing...you're going to love it.

    Thanks for the help fellas.  I thought that too but never found any info on it in the user manual. Can't wait to get it all set up and on the boat. Went last summer without one so I just mainly trolled around or drifted around.

    With my unit, the US2 had its own small manual...just a couple of pages.

    My next TM will have the I-pilot. If I had a PD2 instead of an original PowerDrive, I'd be adding one now.

    Look on the motor, see if it is infact a motor with a sonar.

    Or post a photo of the plug in question.
