20 mile creek

How far up 20 mile do the fish travel ? The timber company I work for bought a piece of ground in NY state. South of Ripley. Do the fish on this end travel up the tribs that far??

It is alot farther then 35 miles by creek to Conneautville. You have to remmeber that the creek flows South for awhile then takes a major turn West for a good bit then makes anouther major turn East for quite awhile then goes South. I would be more then willing to say by stream miles its atleast 50 plus miles to Conneautville by creek.

Fish make it way up on 20, usually.  21 miles of conny is in Ohio, the rest in PA.  I think it's 61 miles from the headwaters to the lake.  I can't remember what happened yesterday though..

I can "almost" remember fishing the tribs (12-16-20 mile creeks) in the early 80's and seem to remember there being a few salmon in the creeks. I never caught one but did see them. Did catch a 10 lb brown trout out of 20 mile one fall. Is it just an old mind playing tricks or was there a few salmon back then ?
