..And then I saw a sheet being let down from Heaven and it contained all the four legged creatures of the Earth. And then the Lord told me "Get up Peter, Kill and Eat."

Probably in some of the creeks where the mouth was choked off with silt/gravel.
But Elk and walnut won't get a "big" new run because of the rain.

The runs don't work that way in the creeks that have enough water at the mouths for fish to easily enter.
They WILL spread out though and I'm sure "some" will come in.
Just like they've been doing for the last 7 weeks

The biggest "run" will be all the yahooz swarming over hill and dale this weekend

I have to agree with Genieman 77, about Elk and Walnut Creek.  The older fish will move up and a few fresh steelies will appear, hopefully more than a few!  Don't count on a huge run at this time, IMO.  Fishing the west side tribs last year, at this time, the fish were more spread out.  I'm fishing Elk on Thursday morning.  It should only get better with more rain.

changes in latitudes, changes in attitudes....nothing remains quite the same

This morning it was fine, a bit of color and good flow.  Last night it was a mess, tons of leaves and sticks.
