Mono vs. Fluro Line Choices???

what is better Mono or Fluro line in clear, blue, green or yellow when fishing for steelies or anything else? what brand should I go with when it comes to either Mono or Fluro line choices?

    I had a pile of money bet on that nag because in practice it was breaking track records.

    Neither- use 20Lb black cotton braid.

    the best thing to use is green yarn. the fish think its grass. you gotta braid at least three strands to make it strong enough. i usually start knitting in the spring and i have about 300yds when steelie season rolls around.
