Was the Edward John out of emerald shiners?  What bait were you using previously, fat head minows?  There is a bunch of us from this board going out on the EJ Sunday morning, will there be a bait problem?  It is hard sometimes to wade through the sarcasm on this discussion board.

changes in latitudes, changes in attitudes....nothing remains quite the same

No problem with the bait. We only had a couple of trips this year where you could not buy an emerald in Erie. Both bait shops, Poor Richards and Presque Isle Angler have been taking care of me. The delivery of fresh caught emeralds on saturday night was something that Presque Isle Angler did as a service to take care of the customers. I did not ask for a delivery offshore that night, he did it because the bait was just caught and that myself and the customers would appreciate it. And we did!!

Perch fishing is good right now. See ya out there!!
