Floating grass

Anyone know if the allegheny or french creek is loaded with the infamous wads of eel grass yet? Bin searching around and haven't heard or seen any reports of it yet..usually it starts in late August and runs thru September and is cleared up by mid ocotber. Have a possible fishing trip coming up ..
