900 cfs !!!!!

I guess they are getting ready for a blow out.This is n't looking good for me as I may have to cancel this trip to stay home to clear any possible downed trees and help the wife in case of power failure.And if it's running at 900 now what will it be by Wed.?..

What I almost lost in the Salmon River

Been gone for a few weeks due to Tech issues- Had to login even between reading threads for quite a while then the system stopped accepting my logins. Tried repeatedly to address the issue by the normal means described in the Forum and even tried to re- register- system kept sayin it didnt recognize..

What I have lost in the Salmon River

This year Oct1 I lost a container of mostly red glow bugs by the Rte 81 bridge. Two years ago I lost the weight forward fly line with salmon attached and some red backing just below the Ballpark in Sept. Sure does match up with some things found by uglyfish and Bigbear2010!!..

Just Got Back

Had the most amazing time on the river. Saw the most steelhead come out of the river in over 15yrs. Glad to see people were putting them back. And yes there are still lots of salmon in the river. Charlie..

Would this be legal

Just wondering in the Zones. Articulated fly, top part being a bead lower part being lets say a stony fly. It technically would be one fly. Just wondering..

What have you found and brought home on the river.

So far this year I have found 2 full vials of eggs, price tag on each $10.95. Over $5 in cans/water bottles. 3 broken corkers brought home and removed studs and I will never have to buy studs again. upping line

I will be getting my new line and reel this weekend. Salmon tapered Cortland. Is it worth it to up 1 size to a 9 wght line on 8 wgt pole. The reel is an 8,9,10. Also what does upping accomplish and is the line thicker, heavier??????..
