My fishing report 12/27-12/30

I have been getting my arse handed to me! I have not hooked one darn steelhead. I have fished mostly one spot below Altmar and just upriver of Rt48. Several other fisherman have been within eyesight as well as several driftboats. No one hooked up where I was. I stayed out for 2-3 hours each day. Yes..

Got up and fished for a few hours today. Day started out nice but as the AM went on the wind picked up although it was mid 30's it was pretty cold. At 900 I chose to stay up high. River is up to 900 through tomorrow and with the rain /snow coming could be a big water weekend. I may go up tomorrow AM for a bit, but I don't know. I have through Sunday off and was going to fish as these are my last days off for a bit, but now it may be spent watching TV and tying flies...
