A little perspective..........

Had a little talk of the big water event in 84. Water hit 24k plus during that. Take the 2010 flood at 17k and add this recent one to that at 8k and it hits that mark. I talked to my dad tonight about it. Here is what he and I remember. It was an early winter and there was alot of snow on the ground..

Rochester Trip

Fished out of Rochester yesterday, 4/21, with the inshore conditions less than perfect. The wind from Friday and Saturday blew the coffee stained water in along the shoreline east and west of the Genny making it difficult to find water clear enough to fish. We didn't boat our first fish until 10:45 ..

Maxwell Creek

wow!!!

The gauge at pineville is 512 cfs... todays minimum water level record was back in 1995 at a flow of 476 cfs... they really emptied that reservoir the last thaw we got... normally it wouldve just kept filling with the amount of snow up on the tug but its just been such a cold dry early spring so far..

Lake Ontario Browns from Shore

Can anyone give me some tips on fishing for Browns from shore? I was looking to fish anywhere from Oswego to Rochester. I have heard that it can be good at any of the creek or bay mouths. I was going to try around Sodus or Maxwell. Any Reports? Any tips would be greatly appreciated...
