The 2013 Salmon Season

The 2013 Salmon Season has officially begun. I saw a report from DSR saying that an employee took the first King of 2013 earlier this morning. Incredible, August 7, soon we'll be having runs like Alaska. Let the games begin!!!!..

To The Admin

Fish USA definitely has some program and possibly security issues. It won't allow me to log in from my phone . The log in box will not stay in place and any typing I do always changes ( it's not my phone as other sites work fine ) I see some of the topics have their last posting dates changed also..

Went up today planning to go with a friend and possible meet up with Jack. Well one of those happened. My buddy called this AM to let me know his brother in law called and wanted to go with us today. His BIL said he skipped work because he did not have money for gas to get there. Kind of an oxymoron..

friday up top

launched at 630 made way down to hole above the schoolhouse, pulled plugs thru there with no takers. The schoolhouse hole had 4 driftboats in it pluggin, saw 2 taken went by slowly and saw many fish moving around. Plugged the wire, frasiers run and the bovines with nothing. Brown trout skein to egg sacks...

Okay last year my buddy caught a brown and took the skein. He kept it intact and put good old borax in a zip lock and froze them. Is it possible to take them out of the skein and then use a different type of cure or will it ruin the eggs. I'm mean technically they've already been cured with the bora..

Didn't get up there till 1, lot was pretty full but knowone fishing the stretch I like.
