April 1 Trout opener

Good luck to everyone who plans to wet a line for the trout season opener in NY tomorrow.I plan to hit some local reservoir outlet streams at first light in the hopes of re-learning how it feels to have a fish tugging at the end of my line. Don't forget to post pictures!..

3-29 to 3-31 report

Decided to play hooky from work with a friend and give the river a try. Quite windy and cool Tuesday but able to fish when we arrived. There appeared to be quite a few steelhead on beds around Ellis Cove which drew the drift boats and fisherman. Pineville on down pretty slow. Gave N. Sandy a try yes..

Congrats to fish USA

As some may notice, fish USA now has Great Lakes shop. This is welcomed by myself as a customer and fan of their quality from GL . Almost time to put the ice gear away and pull the boat , almost.. I can still shop now though:) as some may know , the boats are out on the Great Lake Ontario already...

Pulaski taxes

Looking to hear from any locals on the 2016 property tax situation in Pulaski.Just got my City/county tax bill and it DOUBLED from last year even though the appraisal is about the same.Is this area wide or am I seeing some kind of error.
