Block Island trip

Fished this past Friday off Block Island with my daughters on the Sakarak and Capt Mitch Chagnon out of Point Judith. NY state buys 2800+ acres of land on Salmon River

Came upon this info on another board that I read and thought it should be posted here.Apparantly the state bought this land and has turned it over to the DEC for access on the river.The map that I saw shows it to be from Pulaski all the way up to Altmar and beyond.A lot of this was already open but ..
