Early season results??

Got out for the first time this morning. Had 2 mature does and 2 fawns sneak in at 7:10. Lead doe spotted me in my ladder within seconds.After 5 minutes of stare down they bolted off. Not 10 minutes go by and a solo body goes sneaking along. I see rack....SWEETTurns out to be a nice 8 point. He neve..

Still Hunting 1A

Apparently people can't read or understand boundaries. Saw a guy bow hunting today in 1A at least 2 miles from 2 B border. PGC loves to change rules yearly, don't know if it's for more hunting opportunities for us or more opportunities for them to bust people. With my luck I would have been busted. ..

It has been a rough year for me on the archery hunting front. It was a struggle to even see some deer on most of my outings until that magical time begins around Halloween and my annual hunting vacation kicks off. I had high hopes that sightings would pick up and they did for sure. I was seeing deer..

Well what can I say, its a read

I spent more time this spring and summer than all my previous years hunting trying to help improve my hunting (which was never really bad to start out with, if you guys remember posts from my past). I started running cameras in may (had 3 out) then in late august/september once i planted my food ..

overpopulated

Just picked up a few acres of Pvt property on the Ct coastline the State considers overpopulated with Deer. They allow Sunday bow hunting, baiting, and bow through the end of January as well as extra tags.Rifle and Muzzel through the regular seasons with no Sundays.Even though our Bow season started..

Diy Public Archery Hunts ...

Last year we did the Ohio thing.. Was fun but nothing killed.. Seen some deer This year i think we are going to try Indiana.. Has anyone hunted it? Any opinions? I think we are going for two weeks during the rut second week of November.. Just driving out and doing our best. Kansas is also a possibil..

XBOW scope

Seems like after I shoot 50 or 75 bolts though it I have to mess with the scope . Noticed it was shooting about 2" low today again. OKAY let's get this one rolling..I had 4 doe grazing the front yard yesterday at 4:00Wife looked out at 11pm to check temp, got me out of bed "Bucks in front yard"Sure as ship 6pt, 4pt, and a button buck all grazing.
