Baitfeeder spinning reels?

Anyone using these reels and have any advice on brands or models? Trying to find some with good quality that have reel bodies make of solid material that will not bend at the reel stem under pressure of a decent sized fish...

Will they still hit dry flies?

I'm thinking of going out to a stream for the first time tomorrow if the weather is good. I have size 12 and 14 flies. I'm not going to fish for anything in particular. I was wondering if I can still expect fish to hit dry flies fairly well at this time of year in north central Illinois? Thanks..

Trouble with catching Minnows/baitfish

So I went ahead and made a quick and easy minnow trap, but it seems like it's not catching anything, and I can see shiners jumping out not far away, as well as smaller black minnows/baitfish. I'm not sure what they are but they're like and inch long or so. I baited my trap with some bread, diced hot..
