     It is with a heavy heart that I post these, the final scores, from our NASCAR Picks Group.  It's been fun.  From watching Wood Nickle pick his Long Shot from the top 12, to Fishin' Coyote going from the top to the bottom each week to me Always being dead last. It has been a good ride.  I have made some good friends on here, and it has been my pleasure to do things for the members of the board.
 
     We had one person pick the actual winner. That was Ms Nickle, picking: Denny Hamlin.
     We had one person pick the best Long Shot.  That was Bigfoot, picking: Ross Chastain.
     And 6 out of eight of you picked Burt Meyers as the 1st Out.

Sad to see the site close, but I have enjoyed following along and through this bord had the opportunity to have met "the Cripp" and for spending some time with him, both fishing and just being friends with him. He once told me through a personal experience he once had as a child that the greatest gift you can ever give someone is the gift of compassion.
May he forever rest in peace. 

Thanks Jack for hosting the Nascar pickem game. Gave me more drivers to root for while watching the races. I'll forever remember the 1fly tournaments. Hung out 1 year and participated (I'm a sucky fly fisherman ) another year. Great memories for sure.
