I am grateful to FishUSA's Forums.
I've met dozens of good people from this site, many I consider friends and some became best friends. I've been around here since 9/21/2000. Almost 25 years.
 Glen, Plumbob, Krott243, Double taper, Swinger, Wormwaster and Crip all became cherished fishing partners. RIP Crip and Plumbob.
Most importantly, If it wasn't for this site, I would have never met Jack (Indsuiz), which means I probably would never have met Skip16503 or John(woodnickle) who were both instrumental in planting a seed and getting me fully involved with volunteering and helping our Disabled Veterans for the last 15 years. 

Yep, the One Fly... then the PHW Vets picnic... met a lot of good people from being on this site!

The open discussion thread was just that Open Discussion. No one talked politics in campfire,fly trying,hard water,boats and motors we discussed it in the open discussion thread.No one should have got butt hurt everyone was entitled to their opinion on things .If you didn't want to participate don't go there or change the thread. when folks mention this site are they meaning Open discussion or do they mean the entire forum? 

That's right the whole thing is over. You could get FB, but ofcourse you would have to put and name and face to the crazy. You wouldn't do that , would you?? 🤷🙄🤣
