Anybody here that's had a look at French Creek today (Sunday July 3)?  
 
Was thinking of fishing it later today or tomorrow, but know that most of the watershed got a good shot of rain Friday evening.  The Utica gage looks good (1.9 ft), but as a FC newbie there have been a few times I've made the hour drive up there only to find it muddy and rising 36-48 hours after rain in the watershed.  Learning that it rises and falls pretty slowly.  

Wattsburg area looked fine today, but the creek is pretty small up this way

Nothing stellar but had fun catching some feisty smallies during the last couple hours of the day. Not too much yak/float traffic. Beautiful evening to be out.

Question: Do French Creek maps exist?
- I would be delighted to find a .pdf or purchase a printed map, guide, or book.
- Consulting the wisdom of the forum: I figure if anyone knows how to find fish and navigate around dams, it's gotta be this crowd!
