Anybody have recommendations for a good duck taxidermist in Western PA?

My son shot a drake mallard last week that’s just about as good as a specimen as you’ll get in PA and he’d like to get it mounted. I’ve been asking around but seems that all the good ones that friends have used in the past have retired.

We’re in Butler County but will travel a couple hours for great work.

I used Sullivan Taxidermy in Rochester PA. on 68 - not too far from Butler.  He did great work on a teal - but that was probably 15 years ago.  I dont even remember what I paid to have it done.

I just looked - he has a web site.

Just get the boy a duck stuffing kit out of the Herter’s catalog and let him learn a new skill.

Thanks wilbur, I'll check them out.

DarDys, that's funny!  Although he's that highly annoying type of person that when he decides to learn how to do something new, he does it and does it well.  He'd probably make it look half decent.

Friend of mine, imagine that I have friends 😄, has been in business for a good bit. Has won numerous awards through the years. Give him a look.

Thanks Pens but we found a guy in Erie who specializes in waterfowl and was highly recommended by several guys on another site.

Looked at Clete’s work on his Facebook page and he does do really good looking work on mammals and fish. Very nice stuff he has displayed there.
