There is a new proposal being considered that is confusing to me ,but it seems like the PGC will let you apply for up to 4 tags this coming year for Does. This will cause some comments for sure. Go to the PGC web site for more info.  sam

The issue with this is for those that hunt the SRA's. Killing multiple deer a day is a real possibility. Having to stop hunting to report a kill before driving to a courthouse to get more is ridiculous. They need to exempt the SRAs from this proposal. 

dpms Unless I am mistaken, you already have the ability to shoot as many deer as you have tags for, before even getting out of your stand in any WMA, as long as you tag them before moving them.You can already get 3 doe tags ,where available,plus your Buck tag,plus unlimited tags in SRAs. That should be enough for most people.  sam

The way the proposed regulation is written now you can only have 4 tags at a time. There is no differentiation in whether they are SRA tags or regular tags if I'm understanding correctly so even DMAPs would count a part of the 4

Many buy 2 or 3 tags outside of the SRA then buy multiples within the SRA. Say you still haven't filled a doe tag, you cannot buy more than 1 or 2 in the SRAS.

I read it the same way as dpms. If you buy 3 outside of the SRAs you can only buy one in the SRAs until you fill a tag. Makes no sense to me. Currently you can have more than 4 tags in the SRAs, I know many guys who do every year. SRAs typically have tags left late in the season already. Why have people make multiple trips to the courthouse?

I didn't see anything about DMAPs included in that total. I really hope they are not included in this process.
