Fabulous advice guys! Thank you.

The issue was the tab being on the outside of the blind and the thread tearing through the softer blind fabric. By putting part of the tab on the inside and part on the outside, the stronger material will take all the wind pressure.

btdt, Thanks, His boar means sausage for me & if he gets a deer it means deer liver for me. So it's win, win for me.  lol  sam

Boar sausage sounds fabulous. You can keep the deer liver though, not to my liking.

Sam, did I mention.... I'm jealous. ☺️ Enjoy that sausage. 🍺

Not much of a liver fan myself. The heart, on the other hand, thinly sliced on a grill. Oh boy!!

Try Deer liver pre cut bout 1/4 inch deep to bite sized pieces quick fried in butter.
Add bite size bacon pieces and sliced caramelized sweet white onions poured over the top prior to eating.
Caramelize the sliced onions in the same pan with the bacon pieces using some butter.
No salt or pepper needed.

Works well with calves liver too( maybe even better).

My fave is to cut the liver into strips dredge in flour then fry it to med.rare then add alot of onions & then add mushroom gravey to slowly finish it off.Makes you wish that the deer had 2 livers. Add chunks of Italion bread to the table & save some chunks to mop out the frying pan.We used to stand in line at camp for it.  sam
