Send for doe tags this week-end.I would think that most folks will get their first pick.  sam

Since the PGC decided to stop selling DMAP tags as part of the DMA program, I am filling out my doe tag today. Glad I get to spend the time filling out a form; filling out an envelope — both parts; looking up the WMU; looking up the courthouse address; putting in postage — twice; and waiting a month or more to see if I get one. Then looking up the next due date and doing it all over again. So much more convenient for the customer than buying it OTC in one minute — even if it cost $4 more ($3 really after postage). All so the county can get $1.

It’s like saying, you know, this here indoor plumbing is nice, but I miss the old two-hole outhouse, so let’s go back to that.

Some of the smaller cntys may not have the manpower to process them quickly due to the virus.But at least you can check the PGC web site & see if you get picked.  sam

Dropped mine in the mail today. Hoping for that 2nd 1B tag again this year. Even though it sounded like a war zone around my house the first day of rifle doe last year, looks to be plenty of baldies around still. Must be lots of bad shots out my way 😉

Got my first tag for 2-c in the mail on Thur. I want to give a shout out to the Westm'd cnty Treas. office for a job well done on Wed. when I checked to see if I had gotten picked for my second tag,,I noticed that they issued me a tag for the wrong unit. I immediately called the Cnty Treas.& explained the prob. They checked & saw that they had made a mistake & immediately corrected the prob. by issuing me the one that I asked for & had it up  on the computer with-in 5 min.   sam
